Different people have different dreams. Some people dream of hitting the jackpot of the lottery, while others dream of running for the presidency. As for Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, he told us that is nothing more important than to find out what you love. Steve Jobs delivered three stories from his life, there are about connecting the dots, love and loss and death. Each story is meaningful to me.
Through the first story, Steve Jobs told us to do what we love now and believe that would come back to us in our future. This reminds me of my senior high school life. At that time, I like to use computer to express my art works, while other classmates create with normal way. I wasn’t knew what this would benefit to me in the future. However, I find the skill of using computer has now come back to me when I’m installing the soft we need and learning the 3D graphic. This makes me believe that by convince myself.
His second story, telling us that no matter how disappointing it is, we should still do what I believe is interesting. Also, this story let me think of my childhood. I fell in love with a girl. I tried very hard to make her to become my girlfriend. I can still remember that for celebrating her birthday, I used several sparklers to do arrangement in her name’s shape. That was the most romantic thing I’ve ever done. Although finally I failed to be with her, I learned to be honest and intimate to the person I love. And now I’m very happy to be with my girlfriend.
The last story is about death. Although I’d never been close to death, I found the saying is very useful-” If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right.” By facing the fear of death, we would be naked and able to face ourselves honestly. Aslo, I remembered that my teacher tought me concentrate to reflect myself in a dark environment can be helpful. I think these two ways have the same mean.
To sum up, expect for telling us three stories, Steve Jobs finally told us that “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.” This saying represent his destiny, and I wish I can do my effort to be humble to others and hungry to knowledge.

My New Semester Resolution (final edition)
Here comes the new semester after the winter vacation suddenly ends. After studying in college for there years, I start to think about what I’ve earned in these time. I remember that the first teacher I encountered in national Taiwan university of science and technology had told us to do there things in our college lives- reading, learning and exercising.
First, about reading, there are some books I have to read if I want to enhance my design ability. I always thought that it’s no need to read books in design department. However now I find that if I want to design something that is touching and confidential to people, it’s necessary to understand how designer did touching works. Also, reading is a means to pursue profound knowledge. Maybe I should make a schedule of reading. To start with, I hope I can finish reading a book in a month.
Second, about learning, we should try to learn things in our daily lives except in our department. For example, now I’m working at school library in my leisure time. It’s not only earning some pocket money but also getting used to a working environment. When I’m working at library, I have to be patient if there are some students coming to ask me about how to use the school library net, and it’s important to be polite to elders. I think I will be used to this kind of life style soon.
For exercising, I have been in our department volley ball team since I had gone to college. Everyone in our ball team wants to win Design Cup before we graduate, so we practice very hard. Through playing volley ball, I can enhance my skill and my body power. Nevertheless, these days I’m a little tired and feel that my enthusiasm for volley ball is getting cold. I hope I can find my zeal back early and return to our ball team. After all, it can’t be more emphasized that you must have to keep yourself health then you can earn design department’s credits.
To sum up, I want to make a difference this semester. I have three goals- being more serious with all my subjects, doing my effort to experience my life and keeping health. Hope I can keep my schedule and make a different semester.

My New Semester Resolution (2nd draft)
After a short winter vacation, here comes the new semester. Not only having more home-works than last semester, I also started to work part-time. For this new semester resolution, it’s very important to make a specific and attainable plan. I hope I can advance my studies, and keep health better. I always felt tired after doing a lot of home-works, therefore I lost my health and got bad scores in last semesters. At first, I aim to make better schedule to confirm that I can finish all my home-works one day before every deadline. Second, I hope I can work part-time smoothly and stably. At last, I want to do my best to fulfill my will-make better design. However, only through displaying great ardor for design can we do design well.
